POINTS FOR PATRIOTS (PFP): PFP was founded in New York by Michael Schumer in 2011 on the tenth anniversary of 9/11 and is the fundraising arm of the Maroon Veterans Alliance. Established as a series of charity tennis tournaments to raise proceeds for the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund's effort to construct PTSD and TBI rehabilitation centers across the United States, PFP has raised $49,000 year to date. Using the annual charity tennis event as a model, PFP hosts two events per annum: a basketball tournament (3 v. 3) and tennis tournament (doubles). Both charity events strive to increase public awareness of PTSD and TBI in an exciting and fun atmosphere to benefit the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund.
